How to get your business details listed on this site

If you would like to have the details of your business, added to the listings on this site then this is how to do it. First you will need to click here to display the application form. Print this form, fill in the details and post it to me at my address shown at the bottom of the form. (after printing the form, press your browsers "Back" button to return here).

On this form, you will be asked to provide details such as the name of your business, details of what you do, and your address. You can provide as much or as little information as you like. The more information about what you do, the more likely it is that you will get business. You will also need to provide contact information, so people can contact you as a result of seeing your details on this site. You may include an email address as a means of contact, and a link to your own website if you have one. I will need you to provide your full address, though this does not have to appear on this site, the form makes it clear what information will appear on the site, and what information is for my own records.

To comply with the data protection act, there is also a space to give your consent to some of the information being stored in an electronic form. Only the information that is to appear on the site will be stored in electronic form.

Each business will be included in both the "sorted by location" and "sorted by business" lists on this site. I am keen to include all types of business, from all parts of the Scottish Highlands or Islands, so if there is currently no suitable category for either your business type, or location, I will add one. Please feel free to sugest the category heading that you think is most appropriate.

There is regretably a small charge for including a listing as follows. A one off payment of �2.50 is required for adding a listing to the site. Any such entry will then be listed on the site indefinitely. If you later require an amendment to a listing there will be a fee of just �1. This small charge is necessary to cover the administration and time involved to edit, update and upload the files.

A standard entry includes name, address, description of business activity, telephone/fax number, a hyperlink to your own website if you have one and a hyperlink to your email address. If you want more than just this simple listing, there are various possibilities, such as including a small photograph or graphic with your listing. Other idea's are for me to design and create your own simple website (if you don't allready have one) which could be linked to this sites domain name, such as http://www.highlandservices.info/yourcompany or I can help you create your own full web site with your own domain name.
